Coming Up Wearable Gadgets

Xiaomi, the biggest selling fitness tracker brand on this planet has only just acquired the Mi Band 4 out of the door – however, is not sitting still; with the cheaper-still Mi, Band 3i touted for launch.

The name was picked up in a little bit of code within the Mi Band app – noticed by the eagle-eyed chaps over at Androidtr.es.

Chances are it’s going to be cheaper than the 4, however, will no doubt lose a few of the features as well. Or it might be a revamped Mi Band 3 with some additions.

The Movado Connect Wear OS smartwatch went live back in 2017, and the world is crying out for a sequel.

The good news is that it is making it’s come back, the Movado Connect 2.0 has detailed over at the FCC.

The listing reveals the vital specifications too. There is set to be 8GB of storage, 1GB RAM, a 300mAh battery and can pack in NFC, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

There’s a good chance it could be working the new Snapdragon 3100 chipset as well. No word on a launch date yet.

After the absolute PR catastrophe that was the Galaxy Fold, you’d have thought the folks in Korea can be done with tech that folds up for now.

However, you would be wrong – Patently Apple has the details on some AR glasses the corporate has outlined, stating:

“Samsung notes that a number of embodiments of the current invention relate to foldable smartglasses wherein the temple portion of the wearable system might include a projector and a prism, and the temple portion could also be constructed to be foldable with respect to the frame of the machine, thereby permitting the gadget to be easily being stored.”
